So I bought a Nikon 50mm prime f/1.8 lens yesterday. Tried it for the first time yesterday with a non-photographer friend, so I didn’t want to go overkill on the geeking out. Today I went north and hiked a few miles on my own. There wasn’t much to shoot, but I got to play with the lens, and I really like it.
